Genova,San Fruttuoso,Fortofino,Santa Margaritha-Italy

Walaupun pulaunya kecil tapi sangatlah cantik.

Genova, San Fruttuoso, Fortofino, Santa Margaritha-Italy

The journey from Nice-Ville (train station), France to Genova-Italy takes about 4 hours and 34 minutes with the ticket cost 19.30 on-way. 4 hours plus I sit on the train with no air-conditioner, huh bloody hot! But the whole journey, I could see the beautiful beaches and amazing scenery - if you seat on the right hand side. Meanwhile if you seat on the left hand side, you will see green, houses and hills. I was in Genova for 3 days 2 nights. My first day was spending time looking at this beautiful vintage old city. 4 hours was enough for me to do the tour. I’m telling you, it is all worth it if you visit this city. It is not only beautiful and unique but the villagers are very friendly. The food and beverages also consider cheap so traveler like me can save budget haha.

Day two in Genova, I take a boat to San Fruttuoso and next to Fortofino with the ticket price 20 (return).
The journey from Genova to San Fruttuoso takes about 1 hour. I make my move at 10am from Genova ferry station. Few minutes before I arrive, I snap some photos on the ferry because this is the time to get the beautiful scenery here. I spend about 3 hours as the island is quite small so the journey it is not that long though. Next I take the ferry to Fortofino.

Fortofino…..according to Plink the Elder, the village was found by the Roman descent and they called it as Portus Delfini because it is inhabited by a large number of Dolphins.
In 1950’s, the popularity is increased as Leo Chiosso wrote a lyric about Lovo In Fortofino and that song was dedicated for the firs time by Fred Burcaglione on May 1958. Although the island is small but it is extremely beautiful! The building is colorful just like in Genova. The beauty of Fortofino shined with hundreds of beautiful yachts parking around the island.
Although it is super hot at this time, but it does not discourage me to continue to do the tour here. A row of restaurants and boutiques here are very high quality and tip top. Here you can also get the chance to see the boats and yachts. Oh not to forget, shopping! The expensive shop brand such as Dior, Dolce Gabbana, LV, Maxmara and many more are also there! The food is a bit expensive but its’ okay  as I could still afford it.

In Fortofino, I spend there about 4 hours and take the ferry to Santa Margarita. Actually I missed the last ferry to go back to Genova so I straight go to the information center to get the ferry schedule and the staff advises me to take the ferry to Santa Margarita and then take train to Genova.
